It’s Halloween again. You are excited. You either have a costume plan or you don’t. If you do, you’re probably can’t wait for the party to begin. But if you fall into the other category, chances are you are already getting desperate as the days go by. However, we are here to make sure that is not a problem for you by bringing you some easy women last-minute costumes you could put together with minimal effort and still look dashing.

Wednesday Adams

Items you’ll need: a white collared blouse, black long-sleeved dress

If you watched The Adams Family movie (not the TV show) as a kid, you would know who everyone’s favorite character is – Wednesday Adams! I personally watched the movie over five times. Now, we thought it’d be a bring idea to bring it on as a costume idea for you. All you need is a black dress and collared shirt. Seriously! Her classic braids will complete your look too.

While her signature hair is two side braids parted in the middle, we chose to revamp this look by going with a side part and fishtail braids.

Fishtail pigtail tutorial

  1. Prep your hair by spraying any texturize product of your choice (sea salt spray would be good).
  2. Part the hair in two sections, preferably a side part to get a modern look – unless you want to stay loyal to the original Wednesday look.
  3. To create a fishtail braid, split the already parted side into two equal sections. Take a small piece of hair from one side and merge it into the other. Do the same with it each side until you get to the bottom where you have to band with a hair tie.
  4. Add some volumize powder and spread sections with your fingers to bring that messy look.

For the outfit, we already said this. Just get a black dress and a white collared shirt to wear underneath the dress. If your dress already has a built-in collar, you are good to go.

When Life Gives You Lemons Costume

This costume is so adorable

Items you’ll need: a yellow or white shirt, a small basket of lemons, thin red tape, scissors.

This is pretty easy to put together. Just cut strips of red tape to form the letters “Life” and tag it to the dress. Carry around a bag of lemons (Give some away if you want).

This way, when life gives you lemons, you are making lemonade.
